BIGBANG Star Kicked Out of Korean Military Service Over Marijuana …

Just days after reports emerged of rapper Choi Seung-hyun, better known as T.O.P. of BIGBANG, was involved in a marijuana drug scandal, it has recently been revealed that he has been kicked out of his two-year mandatory military service.

His two-year enlistment time will, therefore, be reset, which means he will have to enlist again in the military in the future. According to Koreaboo, the development was announced after he was officially indicted for the drug scandal by the authorities.

Choi had to put his burgeoning career on hold in February of this year to serve his duty as a military reserve. He has been in the Korean army for 3 months and 27 days when he was officially booted from his police regiment.

His expulsion effectively forfeited the days he had already served, so he will have to complete his entire compulsory national service, also known as conscription. It has been earlier reported that the talented K-pop artist was accused of smoking marijuana two times and vaping liquid marijuana two times.

T.O.P reportedly consumed the substance through a vape pen on multiple occasions with a female friend and K-pop trainee at his home. It was later revealed that the trainee was Han Seo Hee, a former contestant on the reality show “Birth of a Great Star 3” back in 2012.

According to police reports, Han leaked that the star had smoked marijuana. While he denied the liquid marijuana charges, Choi reportedly confessed to smoking regularly. Seoul Police Narcotics Crime Investigations would later confirm that after conducting drug test using hair samples which tested positive for THC.

Reports are now circulating that T.O.P. may be facing a possible jail time of five years.
