A driver was allegedly found with more than a dozen small packets of marijuana and a baggie of cocaine during a traffic stop last week in Central El Paso, police said.

Central Tactical officers arrested Manuel Enrique Gonzalez, 33, on drug possession charges after he was stopped Wednesday night in a red 2013 BMW after an alleged stop sign violation in the 3400 block of Morehead Avenue, a police news release stated.

In the car, officers found 18 small packets of marijuana with a total weight of more than a pound and a bag with seven grams of cocaine, police said.

Gonzalez also was wanted on two warrants on charges of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance and possession of more than four ounces, under five pounds of marijuana, officials said.

Gonzalez remained jailed Monday on a total bond of $347,500.
