EASY CANNABIS CHILI

It's that time of the year again! It's getting cold as hell and as I'm Thankful that I live in California I still find myself wanting a nice soothing bowl of hot Chili to warm me up. Infusing Cannabis in a chili recipe is probably one of the tastiest ways to medicate. Since we are using aHabanero Chili Oil (peep the recipe!)we decided to go for a southwestern style chili recipe. ooOOoo the peppers with the sweet corn covered in melty cheese… DELICIOUS. As some of you may know, here atThe California Weed Blog we try to encourage people to make environmentally responsible decisions which with the current state of also applies to food. With this in mind we like make recipes that reduce the need for animal products(no we are not Vegan! haha) but don't hurt the flavor of the dish. I did put instructions to make meat filled version of this recipe, you simply just sub theSoyrizofor ground beef šŸ™‚ Leave us a comment below and tell us what ya think!INGREDIENTS3 Cans (15oz) Chili Beans or your favorite kind1 Can Diced Tomatoes1 Can (4.5oz) Green Chiles1 Large Onion diced3 cloves minced garlic1 Habanero Minced2 Medium sized Jalapenos chopped1 Cup Frozen Corn1 lb Soyrizo2 Beef Bouillon cubes(you can buy Veg friendly versions here) 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce1 TBS Dried Oregano1 TBS Chili Powder2 tsp Ground Cumin1 TBS favorite Hot Sauce1 tsp Paprika1 tsp White Granulated SugarSalt to tastePepper to taste2 TBSCannabis Infused Chili OilDiced Green Onion (for garnish)OPTIONAL:Shredded cheese on top.5 Gram of Activated WaxSub1 lbs Ground Beef1 lb hot sausageinstead ofSoyrizoINSTRUCTIONSMy Choice of beans but you can use whatever beans you like best just be sure you drain and rinse your beans before you cook them!On Medium-high heat cook your soyrizo until it starts to brown then put chorizo in a bowl and set it aside.(if you want to use Ground Beef instead of chorizo it is the same process, simply cook until meat is browned)On Medium Heat Caramelizeyour onions and garlic starting with the onions until they start to become translucent, then add garlic and cook for an additional 5 minutes making sure to stir so the garlic doesn't burn.Next add them peppas! You can add as much as you like but heres a picture of the size ratios we used.After about 5 minutes lower the heat down to Medium Low and add the Chorizo back in to the mix cooking and stirring for about 5 minutesAdd your Diced tomatoes and Beef Bouillon then stir it up!Add your Green Chiles (and Activated Wax if you have it!)Add All the Beans!Salt and pepper to taste! Add your Corn, Worcestershire Sauce, Dried Oregano, Chili Powder, Ground Cumin, Hot Sauce, Paprika, White Granulated Sugar andCannabis Infused Chili OilBy this time your house will undoubtedly be smelling dank AF. Turn the heat down to low, cover and let the ingredients party together for about an hour(if you can wait two you should but I understand if you can't wait!)Top your now Cannabis Infused chili with some shredded cheese a drizzle of that deliciousCannabis Infused Chili Oilsome green onions and you are good to go!Drop us a comment below and let us know what ya think!Enjoy!
