ST. PETER — A man who authorities believe is the owner of 10 pounds of marijuana found in a North Mankato storage locker is now charged.

Amadou Jallow, 33, who has no permanent address, was charged Thursday with felony drug possession.

A tip from an informant led to a search of a unit at Security Storage Systems on Webster Avenue on Tuesday.

Credit card records and a key establish Jallow as the renter of the unit, according to the criminal complaint. Jallow used a personal credit card to pay the rent. A key found in his vehicle after his arrest matched the lock on the storage unit.

Jallow was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly fleeing police in a vehicle and on foot. He was charged with fleeing and reckless driving on Wednesday.
