PA Marijuana Dispensary Agent Training Class in Pittsburgh This …

PITTSBURGH, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — HempStaff, a medical marijuana staffing and training agency, is hosting a Medical Marijuana Dispensary Agent Training Class in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 25, 2017. The class will be held at the Embassy Suites Pittsburgh, located at 550 Cherrington Parkway, Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. There are 2 sessions to choose from: 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost is $249 with prior online registration or $300 (cash-only) at the door, if seats are still available.

Pennsylvania Marijuana Applications were submitted 3 months ago on March 20. The Pennsylvania Dept. of Health is expected to announce the winners of the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Applications any day. Dispensary staffing needs will be in large demand after the winners are announced as up to 27 Dispensary licenses will be approved in this round of applications, each license can have up to 3 Dispensary locations. With 3-4 Dispensary Agents (also known as Budtenders) needed in each dispensary location, that’s around 250-300 Dispensary Agents that will be hired over the next several months.

HempStaff’s four-hour course is designed to prepare participants for work at a marijuana dispensary so that business owners are getting educated and well-prepared candidates when filling new, entry-level positions. This specific marijuana training course covers regulations in Pennsylvania.

How will this course help with getting a job in a Medical Marijuana Dispensary?

1)  HempStaff offers a resume review, to get a resume looking exactly how cannabis business owners like it.

2)  Medical Marijuana Dispensary Training on a resume will get you noticed when applying to a dispensary (or any cannabis business) and lead to more interviews

3)  The knowledge learned at this training class allows one to speak intelligently and speak to points the dispensary managers want to hear, giving a much greater chance of landing the job.

4) When HempStaff clients are looking for Budtenders, previously trained students that live in the client’s area are sent first to interview.

The course educates the participants on cannabis and cannabis products along with all the information needed to stay up-to-date with local recreational and medical marijuana laws. HempStaff offers its students a resume template and review to help best prepare them when seeking employment, in this course as well. The end of the course prepares students for the real world with a final exam, that the student must pass with a 75 percent or better to get their HempStaff Dispensary Agent Certificate. As HempStaff is also a recruiting agency, when employers seek to fill entry-level dispensary agents or cultivation site workers, students are contacted first.

HempStaff has trained and certified more than 2,400 dispensary agents nationwide. In addition to the class held in the Pittsburgh area, classes are currently scheduled for Philadelphia on August 12th. Other states with HempStaff classes scheduled this year include Maryland, Florida, Ohio, Massachusetts, Illinois and Arkansas. Once a student passes their exam, they are welcome to return to future classes free of charge for updates and networking to any HempStaff training in any state. Those who have already taken the HempStaff course have provided exceptional feedback about the training.

“An incredibly beautiful and diverse group of passionate people getting together to educate ourselves in order to better educate and serve others with our knowledge on this medicine,” notes one recent participant. “I was satisfied and felt optimistic in the direction things are moving after seeing others talk about one of my biggest passions the past 4 years. Highly approve of the approach to let those who do not pass the Budtender certification test return until they know and understand the basics needed to succeed and grow as an individual.”

HempStaff’s team of recruiters, specializing in the cannabis industry, are available to business owners to help with all their staffing needs from multi-year, experienced Master Growers, Extractors, Dispensary Managers but also those entry level positions of site workers and dispensary agents which are so highly competitive and coveted right now.
