Perris.: Marijuana Dispensary Robbed…2 Suspects in Custody …

On Monday, May 1, 2017, a robbery occurred in the 100 block of Bold Venture Street, Perris. The victim was employed by a marijuana dispensary and had agreed to sell marijuana to one of the suspects. During the transaction, the suspect attempted to pay for the marijuana with several counterfeit US currency $100 bills.

The victim confronted the suspect, and the suspect forcefully took the marijuana and fled to a nearby residence. The victim followed the suspect and called for police assistance. While waiting for officers to arrive, the same suspect exited the residence and pointed a semi-automatic pistol at the victim.

Officers arrived and arrested two male adults from inside the residence; Marcus Marshall, 25-year-old from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tredrick James, 24-year-old from Plaquemine, Louisiana. During the investigation, officers located evidence from additional robberies, firearms, and narcotics. Both suspects were later booked into the Southwest Detention Center for various criminal charges.
